Sam Van Gool

Sam Van Gool is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie post-doctoral fellow, currently working in the Mathematics Department of the City College of New York. His research interests are duality theory and its applications to mathematical logic and computer science, including automata, semigroups, and modal logics.
Karel Hrbacek

Professor Hrbacek undertakes research in the area of mathematical logic, particularly in set theory, with a focus on non-standard analysis and nonstandard set theory. He wrote in co-authorship with Thomas Jech the highly regarded book Introduction to Set Theory.
Alice Medvedev

Prof. Medvedev is a model theorist, teaching at City College in the CUNY system. She received her doctorate from the University of California-Berkeley, under the supervision of Tom Scanlon, and subsequently held postdoctoral positions at Berkeley and at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
